Thrifting is my absolute favorite way to shop consciously. For brands you love but know aren't ethical (ahem, nearly all of them), you can thrift for them! Problem solved! Luckily there are many sites out there that make thrifting a blast. Not to mention easy.
So I was stoked with thredUP out about trying their online store and picking a few things out for Spring. And, of course, I love it! Right off the bat this gorgeous silk blend Trina Turk jacket caught my eye and it was love at first site. The jacket normally sells for nearly $500 but I got it for a mere $65 in mint condition.
I'm typically pretty simple in my dressing, sticking with basics and blacks and creams, but every once in a while, you need that piece with personality. And this jacket has it to the max. For spring, I styled it with a white Everlane Tee, a handmade necklace from Enrou, my Giving Keys necklace, a statement ring from Di Modolo, cropped jeans (old), booties from Billy Reid, and my favorite bag from THacker.
