My love language is gifts. I absolutely love both giving and receiving that something extra special. So you can imagine how much I love Christmas. Not consumerism mind you, but just that one perfect gift that lets someone know you really see them and care. This Christmas, I am loving the jewelry from Hadley Frances. She creates timeless, elegant pieces that anyone would love from your best friend to your sister or mother. I have loved wearing my Hadley Frances pieces. They have become a beloved wardrobe staple. Check out some of my favorite pieces and how I have incorporated them into my style below, and hope on over to Hadley Frances for your very own special piece for you or someone you love. Wishing you all a Christmas filled with love this year.
I stumbled upon the coolest social enterprise recently called THX, and I was so inspired by what they are doing I had to blog about it. They sell delicious products like premium coffee and perfume and cologne but give 100% of their profits to a non profit that you are passionate about. They are essentially "doing good, better."
I got to test their products, and while I loved them all, this blog showcases their perfume. Ladies, put this on your b-day list! The scent is melon, honeycomb, and rosé powder (my favorite), and all the ingredients are responsibly sourced.
Smells are super important to me as they conjure up so many memories, emotions, and feelings. So, I treat my fragrance the same way I treat my clothes. I only want to wear what brings me joy. In light of that, when I sampled this lovely scent, I was inspired to take the afternoon off and remind myself of all the things for which I have to be grateful. Check out the pictures below along with little blurbs of what I'm thankful for today. And do yourself a favor and head over to THX.co and check them out.
I'm grateful for my husband and his grace and patience for me.
I'm grateful for a damn good book.
I am always excited for a yummy glass of champagne....and candles. Always candles.
I'm so grateful for my beautiful home and the calm it brings me.
My maltese Rufio is my angel baby. #truly
I'm grateful for my encouraging family. They're far away, but full of love.
What are things you are thankful for today?
This next set of my conscious closet's guide to Christmas is a little on the pricier side. But again, think about all the work that went into creating these pieces. Think about the design, sourcing, sewing, etc. The fact that these pieces are made slave free, is priceless. Choose one as a staple piece for your wardrobe this winter/ spring and wear the hell out of it. And please, whatever you do, don't take any of these pieces for granted.
There's nothing I love more than giving. So you can imagine how much I freak out over Christmas. I am beyond excited to present a curated list of some of my favorite conscious closets christmas gifts just for you and just in time for those cyber Monday steals.
I'm offering gifting guide in parts. This section is for gifts less then $50.00. The next section will be gifts greater than $50.00, and then I'll do one last one for men. (We can't leave them out!)
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for shopping ethically this Christmas season.
